That said, there are many other great pressure passing instructionals to choose from on BJJ fanatics. We will discuss which ones I believe are the best but even so there are many that are great but do not quite make this list.

Best Pressure Passing Instructionals For Traditional BJJ

Pressure passing works well for both traditional BJJ and no-gi. That said, there are some major differences between the two. After all, you cannot grip your opponent’s uniform in no-gi jiu-jitsu.

In traditional BJJ, however, learning how to use gi grips is a fundamental aspect of the sport. Because of this, I want to break up this article into two separate sections.

One for best pressure passing instructionals in the gi and one for the best without the gi. So with that said, let’s get started on best pressure passing instructionals in the gi.

Jiu Jitsu For Old Guys Over Under Pressure Passing System

pressure passing for old guys BJJ fanatics

There are two types of guard passing in BJJ. That is pressure passing and speed passing. Both work very well but at a certain point, you are likely going to want to shift more focus to pressure passing as you get older.

Speed passing is great but it certainly works better for younger more athletic BJJ players. This is because it requires speed and athleticism to pull it off. So basically you are required to outspeed your opponent’s defense.

Thankfully, there is another way. With pressure passing you do not need to be the most athletic person in the gym to pass the guard of even some of the most athletic students. This is because it requires more technique and does not require speed.

So if you are older, getting older, or simply not super athletic then this might be the best guard passing instructional you can purchase. You will learn how to pass the guard of the most athletic and even flexible competitors at your academy.

If this is something you relate with then you might want to check out my article Best BJJ Instructionals For Older Grapplers Here! You will learn what you need to start to focus on as you age in grappling.

Best No-Gi Pressure Passing Instructional

Pressure passing for no-gi jiu-jitsu is still effective. However, you will need a slightly different game plan. This is simply because you cant use the same grips you would in the gi.

So with that in mind and if your focus is no-gi then we need to discuss the best pressure passing instructional for no-gi BJJ.

No Gi Pressure Passing By Bernardo Faria
